The Mid-West Truck Show has been connecting people in the transportation industry for over 50 years. Started by the Mid-West Trucking Association in 1962, the show has been a venue for lasting business relationships and the perfect showcase for new product and innovations.

Thousands of people flock to the show in the Peoria Civic Center every year. Scheduled on the first weekend in February, attendees get to see the newest innovations first, and talk with product and equipment representatives.

Face-to-face interaction is still a valuable commodity for the trucking and transportation industry. The Mid-West Truck show brings the interaction with informative and up-to-date educational programming for attendees and exhibitors. Guest speakers from around the United States present at the general sessions, while throughout the two days attendees are updated on new regulations and challenges that face the transportation industry.

The Waterhouse's Broadway Lounge is thrilled to announce the start of Broadway Jazz Nights as part of First Friday. This month's performers: TBA! 

Admission is $11pp. Seating is assigned in the order admissions are purchased and based upon the size of your group. If you are purchasing individually but would like to sit with someone else, please indicate that in the notes at the time of purchase. 

The Broadway Lounge will also be offering a preshow dinner package at 6p for $30pp plus tax. You will have your choice of entree between New York Strip Steak, Chicken Saltimbocca, or Grilled Salmon with a pineapple and mango salsa along with choice of dinner salad or soup and a gourmet dessert!

The Broadway Lounge's appetizer and dessert menu will be available ala carte from 7p-10p. The show is at 8p.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no physical tickets. To gain admission simply show your receipt or drivers license to the door/event manager. We do not arrange the seating for the show until the day of the show, so please indicate any seating preferences as well as the name of the group you would like to sit with if you are adding on to other purchases. We give priority of seating based upon the order of purchase.

Rodney Carrington has been making audiences laugh for almost twenty years with his unique brand of stand-up comedy. The country singer-songwriter has recorded eight major label comedy albums which have sold more than two million copies … two of which have been certified Gold. His most recent special ‘Laughter’s Good’ is now available on Netflix.

Rodney Carrington recently started his own record label “Laughter’s Good” and released two albums under the new label in October 2014. Rodney re-released “C’Mon Laugh You Bastards” which features 3 new songs, as well as an album of all new material called “Laughter’s Good.”

 

In addition to starting his own record label, Rodney started a new YouTube series in October 2014 called “Bit By Bit.” In the series, he releases new material one piece at a time on a weekly basis.

 

According to Pollstar, Rodney has been one of the top ten highest grossing touring comedians for the last 10 years, and among the top 4 or 5 the last several years. His popularity derives in large part, from his connection to his audience both at his live shows, as well as social media. By the looks of his schedule in 2017, he shows no signs of slowing down!
